In August 2018, a total of 16 deals for $405 mn closed this week. Out of this $405 mn, $225 mn have been raised by Olacabs alone from Temasek. For the last few months, data for VC investments in July 2018- as 55 deals worth $597 mn were closed.

The first round of funding is higher in Bengaluru, but the subsequent rounds of funding don’t depend much on the location.
Someone quoted TieChennai doesn’t allow the global members to be a part of it. He noted being a part of global chapter, they don’t even include you in the local mailing list even after reaching out to them. Why?
