In August 2018, a total of 16 deals for $405 mn closed this week. Out of this $405 mn, $225 mn have been raised by Olacabs alone from Temasek. For the last few months, data for VC investments in July 2018- as 55 deals worth $597 mn were closed.

The first round of funding is higher in Bengaluru, but the subsequent rounds of funding don’t depend much on the location.
